UNECE Regional Workshop on the “Economic Resilience Building Plans”

Background:

This regional workshop is organized by UNECE in the framework of project “Building urban economic resilience during and after COVID-19” with the participation of representatives from the Municipalities of Tirana in Albania, Kharkiv in Ukraine, and Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, and the United Nations Capital Development Fund.

It will serve to introduce and provide detailed explanation on the “Economic Resilience Building Plans” which are the final deliverable of the project.

More specifically the main objectives of the workshop include:

1. To present the proposed content and structure of the “Economic Resilience Building Plans”;

2. To provide the municipalities a platform to challenge and adjust the structure of the document to their own specific needs;

3. To identify the stakeholders who will engage in writing the document.
