Sustainable Construction and Green Financing for Guayaquil

Carlos Rodríguez (expert of the technical team of Guillermo Soriano and Wendy Chávez, local consultant). On the part of CONAPFIS: Econ. Roberto Romero, Chairman of the Board, accompanied by Robert Samaniego, CONAPFIS Communication Advisor, and Jéssica Rosero, in charge of managing the funds of the French Development Agency within CONAPFIS.
Main Objectives: To connect the Guayaquil public housing company, the Popular and Solidarity Finance Corporation (CONAPFIS), and ECLAC to discuss possible synergies in our work, given that CONAPFIS currently has 23 million dollars to be awarded to end users through seismic home purchase loans

2:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. Welcome and presentation of Strategic Planning and current Interests of the EPMV.
2:15 pm – 2:25 pm Presentation by ECLAC on the current situation of the city’s Economic Reactivation Plan, and prospects for 2022.
2:25 – 2:45 PM Presentation of CONAFPIS, its work topics, general financing and housing.
2:45 – 15:15 Visioning for establishing synergies with key players in the construction of Guayaquil, to a subsequent meeting in which the conditions of the housing loans placed by international cooperation through CONAPFIS will be exposed.
15:15 – Planning of the subsequent event: time, date, place and general objectives.
Result: Jessica Rosero requested that the EPMV generate a list of end users interested in acquiring a home so that it can be reviewed with the Guayaquil Savings and Credit Cooperatives, which would be interested in placing the funds from the French Development Agency in the local market . The activities derived from this meeting are part of the Guayaquil Economic Reactivation Plan
